Feedback 9.2.11
Well done group, you are woking through this at a reasonable pace. Please ensure that the quality of the posts are not sacrificed though. Please include some photos of locations, actors, costumes, props etc. Your storyboard is by far the most important planning task, so please upload the cmpleted version. You should also choose your musc and upload it to the blog with a bref discussion of why you chose it and what you feel it will add to the sequence.
See me if you have any issues.

Props list
The white male will be wearing a tracksuit with his hood up so his face is darkened and and is un-sure as to what he looks like. He will have trainers on and what appears to be a "joint" in his hand creating connotations that he is getting chased due to drugs. The black male will be wearing jeans below his waist and a hoodie. After the chase scene they will both be supporting a knife.
The location will be in a alley way in blackburn, which is in low-key lighting to show the dark story line.

planning
The sequence will be a fast paced chase sequence. The main character will be a young white male, involved in crime. It will be filmed in the sub-urban streets of Blackburn. The white male will be chased by an older asian male but it will be unsure as to why to create an enigma. The Titles will be black and white connoting the sequence is about racism. The music will be fast pace hip hop garage music, which is the genre which will appeal to our target audience, (16-24 year olds). During the chase we will use extreme long shot followed by a close up tracking shot of the white males feet and face while running, at the end of the chase the asian man will have the white male pinned up against a wall both holding a knife and the camera will pan 360 degrees around them. During the chase we will use freeze frames to apply relevant title credits.

The genre we are doing is british social realism which does not appear in this list of the top 20 films of all time, reasons for this are because they have a specific audience which is mainly teenagers, and usually the content of the film is gritty so it is not appropiate for family viewing. also the british film industry is not as popular as american film industries like hollywood, so the films are less popular. This genre is good for us to make as we have seen the british social realism films and we are they target audience.
